I love illustration because the created image has the potential to communicate message and tone in layers, beyond the scene or subject. It can transcend boundaries and express uniqueness typically limited with stock photography. I believe the involvement of human hand in drawing and painting has the power to connect the viewer to not just the message, but also the fellow human (creator) involved.
